TRA President Sharon Ford stated, “It is our privilege to endorse these candidates in the 2016 election cycle. Each one has been vetted and carefully considered by our members before we voted to endorse them. We look forward to supporting each of them in their campaign and working with those who are elected.“ Ford has served as the president of TRA for 4 years and also served as the chairman of the National Republican Assemblies Convention held in Nashville last summer in which the presumptive Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump attended as a guest speaker.

The Tennessee Republican Assembly (TRA) is chartered by the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA) and is a socially, morally, and fiscally conservative group of individuals committed to strengthening the Republican party by upholding the traditional Republican ideals that represent the American founders’ original intent. It is one of the oldest conservative organizations in TN. Information regarding the organization, including membership requirements, can be found at www.tnra.org.
